About QuizFandom

QuizFandom (quizfandom.com) is an independent, fan-built website that provides free pop culture personality quizzes for entertainment purposes. All content is unofficial fan-made commentary and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or otherwise connected to any of the franchise owners, networks, studios, record labels, talent agencies, or rights holders whose properties are discussed on the site. Where a franchise name appears, it is used solely for the purpose of identifying the source material being discussed.

Entertainment only — no scientific or clinical claims

Every quiz on QuizFandom is designed for fun and entertainment. Results are generated from your multiple-choice answers — they are not psychological assessments, personality inventories, clinical diagnoses, scientific evaluations, professional advice of any kind, or predictors of behavior. Do not use quiz results to make significant real-life decisions about your career, relationships, mental health, or anything else that matters. If you're looking for legitimate personality assessment, please consult a licensed mental health professional rather than a quiz built around fictional characters.

Intellectual property & fair use

All character names, franchise names, show titles, song titles, and related trademarks referenced on QuizFandom are the property of their respective owners. We do not claim ownership of any of these properties. Our use of these names, descriptions, and identifying images falls within the United States doctrine of fair use (17 U.S.C. § 107) for the purposes of commentary, criticism, and editorial content. Specifically: we transform the source material by writing original personality analyses around it, the use is non-substitutional (taking the quiz does not replace watching the show or listening to the music), and the use is non-commercial in nature beyond standard advertising support.

Character images on the site are sourced from publicly available promotional materials and used at small editorial sizes for the purpose of identification within the context of the quiz. We do not redistribute, license, or sell these images. If you are a rights holder and would like a specific image replaced or removed, please see the Contact page for our takedown process — we respond to legitimate requests within 5 business days.

Quiz content ownership

The quiz questions, scoring logic, character analyses, "About the Show" sections, FAQs, page designs, and underlying code on QuizFandom are original editorial content created by us. While individual character names and franchise references fall under fair use, the original prose and quiz design are protected by copyright. You may take and share quizzes freely. You may not scrape, copy, republish, or redistribute the quiz content elsewhere without written permission.

User conduct

By using QuizFandom, you agree to use the site for personal, non-commercial entertainment. You may take any quiz as many times as you like, share your results on social media, link to specific quiz pages from your own site or social profile, and discuss the quizzes publicly. You may not: automate or scrape the site at scale, attempt to reverse-engineer or extract scoring logic for republication, embed our quizzes inside another product, or use the site in any way that misrepresents your relationship with us.

Advertising & third-party content

QuizFandom is supported by display advertising served through third-party ad networks. We currently use Adsterra, may also use Google AdSense if and when our application is approved, and may add or replace networks (for example Ezoic, Mediavine, or others) in the future without prior notice. Advertisements are selected and served programmatically by these networks through real-time auctions — we do not pre-screen, directly choose, endorse, or vouch for any specific advertiser, creative, product, or service.

We make a commercially reasonable effort to filter ads by category — for example, excluding adult, gambling, and other verticals where the underlying network supports such filtering. We cannot, however, guarantee that every served creative meets these standards. Networks deliver ads in milliseconds via real-time bidding, and creatives can occasionally slip through filters. If you encounter an ad you believe is offensive, deceptive, malicious, or unsafe, please report it to hello@quizfandom.com with a screenshot and (if possible) the destination URL so we can block the offender at the network level.

Your interaction with any advertiser is solely between you and that advertiser. Clicking an advertisement takes you to a third-party website governed by its own terms of service and privacy policy. Any purchase, account creation, download, subscription, sign-up, contract, communication, or other transaction you enter into with an advertiser is your decision alone, and QuizFandom is not a party to it. We make no warranty (express or implied) regarding the safety, accuracy, legality, fitness for a particular purpose, or quality of any advertised product, service, or destination site, and we accept no responsibility for the practices of any third-party advertiser.

We reserve the right to add, remove, replace, reposition, or otherwise change ad networks, ad placements, ad formats, or ad density on QuizFandom at any time without prior notice. Use of the site after such changes constitutes acceptance of the changes.

No warranty

QuizFandom is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. While we take reasonable care to keep the site running and the content accurate, we make no warranties (express or implied) about the availability, accuracy, completeness, reliability, security, or non-infringement of any quiz, character description, advertisement, or other content displayed on or accessed through the site. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, QuizFandom and its operator disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, QuizFandom and its operator shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of the site or any third-party content (including advertisements) accessed through the site. This includes, but is not limited to: lost time, lost data, lost profits, hurt feelings about a quiz result, malware, phishing, fraud, or financial loss encountered as a result of clicking an advertisement, and any dispute with a third-party advertiser or destination site. Because access to QuizFandom is provided free of charge, our aggregate liability to you for all claims is limited to USD $0.00. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or the limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above exclusions may not apply to you in full; in such cases our liability is limited to the smallest extent permitted by applicable law.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless QuizFandom and its operator from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your violation of these terms, (b) your interaction with any advertiser or third-party site reached through our site (including any transaction, communication, or dispute with that third party), (c) any claim that your use of the site infringes a third party's rights, or (d) any content you submit to us (e.g., feedback, contact form messages, abuse reports).

Children

Most quizzes on QuizFandom are appropriate for general audiences. A subset of quizzes (those with a "16+" badge — currently The Boys, Squid Game, Daredevil, The Walking Dead, Arcane, Attack on Titan, Breaking Bad, Sex and the City, and Succession) are based on source material rated for mature audiences and may include personality questions touching on themes (violence, moral compromise, adult relationships) that are not suitable for younger users. Parents and guardians should supervise younger users accordingly.

Governing law

These terms are governed by applicable law in the jurisdiction where QuizFandom is operated. Any disputes that cannot be resolved informally shall be resolved through the appropriate courts of that jurisdiction. Use of the site by visitors from other jurisdictions is welcome and does not subject the operator to those jurisdictions.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time as the site evolves, new features are added, or legal requirements change. Material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of QuizFandom after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
