Benito Antonio Martinez Ocasio, who records as Bad Bunny, has spent the last seven years rewriting what global pop music looks like. YHLQMDLG was reggaeton maximalism. El Ultimo Tour Del Mundo was experimental and emo. Un Verano Sin Ti was the longest-charting album of 2022 and basically defined the global pop summer. Nadie Sabe Lo Que Va A Pasar Manana pivoted into trap and ambient introspection.

Debi Tirar Mas Fotos, released in early 2025, is his most explicitly political album yet, an ode to Puerto Rican identity, displacement, and the cultural cost of mass tourism.
