A trade dispute that turned into a war. A Senate that voted itself into a tomb. A Jedi Order that stopped being able to read the room a hundred years before it ended. A boy from a slave planet was supposed to bring balance. A queen turned senator was supposed to save the Republic. And a chancellor in red robes had been waiting his whole life for the rest of the galaxy to fall asleep. Are you the one who falls, the one who tries to save you, or the one who engineered all of it from a corner office? Take this 24-question quiz to find out.

Question 1 of 24
About Which Star Wars Prequel Trilogy Character Are You?
The Prequel Trilogy is Star Wars at its most argued-about and most quoted. The Phantom Menace, Attack of the Clones and Revenge of the Sith gave the internet an entire dialect: high ground jokes, sand monologues, Order 66, "It's treason, then." Underneath the meme layer, though, the prequels are a serious tragedy about a Jedi Order that mistook procedure for wisdom and a chosen one who was groomed by a politician for years before anyone noticed.
This 24-question quiz is the Prequel Trilogy edition. It maps you to Anakin Skywalker, Padme Amidala, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Mace Windu, Palpatine or Qui-Gon Jinn based on how you handle attachment, rules, ambition and trust. It is a separate quiz from the Original Trilogy edition on QuizFandom, with a completely different cast list, so you can take both and compare which era's version of you the Force lines up with.
Prequel fandom has matured. The films that catalogued every clunky line in 2005 are now the films a whole generation grew up rewatching, defended in long video essays and meme threads. The cast holds up: Hayden Christensen's Anakin reads as a young man being failed by every adult around him, Ewan McGregor's Obi-Wan is one of the best-acted Jedi ever, Natalie Portman's Padme is the political spine of the trilogy, and Ian McDiarmid's Palpatine is one of cinema's great long-game villains. The quiz is calibrated to those performances, not to the jokes about them.
Meet the Characters
Each result in this quiz is anchored in a real character from Which Star Wars Prequel Trilogy Character Are You? — here's a quick guide to who you might end up matched with.
Anakin Skywalker
The Chosen One Falling
You're the one with too much talent and too little patience. You feel everything, you love loudly, you get told you're special so often you start to believe nothing applies to you. You'd burn the galaxy to save one person and you'd hate yourself the whole time you were doing it. Your tragedy is real — you weren't born this; you were nudged here, one fear at a time.
Padme Amidala
The Idealist Senator
You were running planets before you could legally drive. You believe in democracy long after the room has stopped clapping for it. You love quietly, fiercely, in secret if you have to, and you fight for institutions that don't deserve your faith because someone has to. The thing that breaks you isn't politics — it's watching someone you love stop seeing the same world you do.
Obi-Wan Kenobi
The Reluctant Master
You're the one holding the line nobody asked you to hold. Witty when it lands, sincere when it counts, and quietly devastated by the people you've outlived. You take on more than you should, you blame yourself for things outside your control, and you keep showing up anyway. Hello, there.
Mace Windu
The Council Enforcer
You're the rule-keeper everyone secretly wants in the room when it gets ugly. You don't suffer politicking, you don't soften the hard call, and you'll be the first one off the bench when the order needs a sword. People mistake your discipline for coldness — really, you just don't have time to dress up the truth before serving it.
Palpatine
The Patient Architect
You play the long game. The very long game. You smile in every meeting, you befriend the people you'll later disassemble, and you've already mapped out three administrations from this conversation alone. The scary part isn't that you crave power — it's that you've done this before, in private, and nobody noticed.
Qui-Gon Jinn
The Maverick Jedi
You're the one the Council finds inconvenient. You trust the Force more than the rules, you take in strays the order would have left behind, and you keep finding the answer in the place no one else thought to look. You're the kind of teacher people only realize they needed years after you're gone.
How This Quiz Works
Every question presents you with options that explore different sides of the cast. As you answer, your match builds gradually toward the character you most resemble.
At the end, the character you most closely match becomes your result. The match percentage reflects how strongly your answers leaned toward that character versus the runners-up. A high match means your personality clearly fit one archetype; a closer call means you're a blend, which is just as common.
We don't ask for your email, sign-up, or any personal info to see your result. Take the quiz, get your character, share it if you want, and that's it.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is this different from the Original Trilogy quiz?
Yes. This one only matches you to Prequel-era characters: Anakin, Padme, Obi-Wan, Mace Windu, Palpatine, Qui-Gon. The OT quiz covers Luke, Leia, Han, Vader, Yoda and Lando in a separate result set.
Can I get Palpatine as a result without being a villain?
Yes. The Palpatine result reads more as long-horizon strategist than as cackling Sith. Plenty of people score that way without being evil, just patient and politically literate.
Are Clone Wars characters included?
No. The quiz stays inside Episodes I-III and treats Clone Wars-era expansions as out of scope for result purposes.
